About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Jubilee Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in office and paperwork responsibilities, as well as people management training courses and development of culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen management systems and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and productive kitchen culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
