Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to students with complex needs, helping them to overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with complex needs, implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by senior staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the emotional well-being of students, assisting in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor and track student progress, reporting any concerns to the relevant staff members, and promoting a culture of respect, tolerance, and empathy within the school community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with complex needs or SEN is advantageous, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a patient and compassionate approach to working with students, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
