Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Evaluation Consultant to join our team at Resources Group. As a key member of our policy and evaluation team, you will work closely with public institutions to assess the effectiveness and impact of policies and programmes aimed at improving public services.

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of mixed-method evaluations of social policy-related programmes. You will work closely with our team of evaluators and policy specialists to advance the use of key methodologies, such as randomised controlled trials (RCT), quasi-experimental designs, and other mixed methods studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver evaluations of social policy-related programmes, including mixed-method studies and quasi-experimental designs
  • Manage evaluation projects through the full project life cycle, from evaluation design to data collection and analysis, and conclusions and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with public institutions and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals to secure new evaluation projects and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evaluation methodologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and impact of our evaluations

Requirements

  • Proven experience of designing and delivering evaluations in a commercial environment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
