About the Position

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of your designated section while providing support to the Sous Chef and fellow team members. Your duties will include:

  • Guiding and assisting the kitchen team to meet daily operational needs.
  • Collaborating with management on stock planning and order forecasting.
  • Overseeing the organization, rotation, and labeling of food supplies.
  • Upholding Food Safety standards by maintaining high levels of hygiene and sanitation across all food service areas.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a professional kitchen, particularly within a high-volume, upscale dining environment. You should be proficient in preparing and cooking various ingredients, especially meat. As a Professional Kitchen Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • Demonstrate confidence in managing all sections of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and mentor junior cooks in your area.
  • Exhibit excellent time-management skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • Showcase exceptional interpersonal abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possess good computer literacy.
