Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the Supply Chain team, you will oversee the Demand Planning process for assigned accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Senior Demand Planner in managing the Demand Planning cycle.
- Overseeing SKU and customer-level forecasts for your designated accounts.
- Collaborating with Sales teams to produce accurate business forecasts.
- Leading monthly demand review meetings with the sales team.
- Challenging forecast assumptions constructively to achieve consensus on total business forecasts.
- Actively participating in the monthly S&OP process.
- Coordinating with departments such as NPD, Marketing, and Finance for effective planning of new product launches and key events.
- Collaborating with key retailers/customers to agree on promotional forecasts.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs to assess forecast accuracy and bias.
- Continuously seeking improvements in the demand planning process and implementing best practices.
- Working closely with Purchasing to maintain accurate stock levels and service standards.
- Supporting Commercial Finance in the business cash-up process.
- Incorporating social and environmental considerations into all aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in the FMCG sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions like Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and convey insights effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Skills in stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Adeptness in fast-paced environments and adaptability to changing business needs.
- A focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for pets.
