Position Title: Foster Care Support Specialist

Role Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to join TACT (The Adolescent & Children's Trust) as a Foster Care Support Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing a supportive network for foster families, enhancing their engagement and collaboration within the community.

Salary:
£25,989 per annum + £750 Home Working Allowance per annum

Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months

Work Environment:
This position is home-based, requiring regular travel for visits, events, and meetings across designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the creation of a 'TACT Carer Support Hub' aimed at fostering connections among caregivers, providing essential support and respite.
  • Coordinate community-oriented activities to elevate TACT's presence and assist in the recruitment of new foster families.
  • Deliver both practical and emotional assistance to foster families, empowering them with the skills and knowledge necessary to support children with complex needs.
