About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Alcedo Care. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults with complex needs in their own homes and promoting their independence in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care and activities in the community.
  • Travel to clients' homes and engage in activities that promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Must be available to work alternative weekends or one weekend day per week.
  • Dedicated, caring, punctual, and driven with a positive attitude.
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
