Clinical Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Endoscopy team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the provision of care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety needs are identified and met.
- Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
- Assist with patient and non-patient manual handling, cleaning duties, and waste disposal.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with dressing and procedures under the direction of the clinical team.
- Act as a patient advocate and report any problems arising out of conversations with patients to the nursing team.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably in an Endoscopy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
