About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as a Student Support Administrator at HMP Foston Hall. As a key member of our education team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our education provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the education team, ensuring that systems and processes operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prisoners, conducting inductions and promoting available courses.
  • Recruit learners for courses, maintain accurate records of achievement, and liaise with partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of individuals, including prisoners, staff, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in an administration environment, with a passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent, with a desire to progress to Level 3.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access packages.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.
