Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy Position

We are seeking an exceptional Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy to join our teaching team at Birkbeck University of London. The successful candidate will be an experienced psychodynamic counsellor/psychotherapist or psychoanalytic psychotherapist with substantial post-qualification experience, some of which will be in a public setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and develop counselling and psychotherapy programmes
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development
- Organise teaching and research activities
- Support the strong collaborative culture of the School
- PhD in a related subject
- Proven record of publishing high-quality research
- Experience in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
- Understanding of Birkbeck's principles of widening participation in higher education
