Role Overview:

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and engaging atmosphere where young learners can flourish. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing creative and interactive learning experiences that support development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your compassionate approach will ensure that each child feels secure, appreciated, and confident in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high-quality educational activities tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel motivated and supported.
  • Monitor and evaluate children's progress, maintaining thorough records and providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure the effective operation of the nursery and the well-being of all children.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and welfare standards consistently.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, offering updates and support regarding their child's growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Experience in a nursery or early years environment.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A nurturing, patient, and innovative approach to teaching young children.
  • The capacity to work collaboratively within a dedicated team.

All pay rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role becoming available later.
