About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team at a Private Day Nursery in Southport. As a flexible Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily care and development of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes children's learning and development.
  • Engage in activities that encourage children's learning and development, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and storytelling.
  • Build strong relationships with children, staff, and families to foster a sense of community within the nursery.
  • Support children with their individual needs, including feeding, changing, and promoting independence.
  • Work flexibly across different rooms and age groups as required, ensuring the nursery's policies and procedures are followed at all times.
About You
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential – relevant experience will be considered.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
