Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a primary institution in Southport to find a passionate and committed Year 4 Educator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover agreement. This position presents a wonderful opportunity to engage with a dynamic group of students and play a vital role in their educational development during the Autumn and Spring terms.
Role OverviewAs the Year 4 Educator, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality instructional sessions that captivate and challenge students, cultivating a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. You will design, implement, and evaluate educational activities to ensure that all students achieve remarkable progress in their learning journey. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain consistency and continuity in the students' educational experience throughout the maternity cover duration.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging and tailored lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
- Evaluate, monitor, and document students' progress, providing regular feedback to both students and their families.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Collaborate with the Year 4 team and other staff members to ensure a seamless transition and continuity in teaching.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school's policies, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events as necessary.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students, adhering to school policies and procedures.
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, particularly with Year 4.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent classroom management abilities and the capacity to engage and inspire students.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate the varied needs of learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
- Experience in delivering innovative and creative lessons that utilize technology and other resources.
- A passion for contributing to the broader school community.
