We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. Our client offers end-to-end IT solutions and managed IT services for small to medium-sized businesses, providing consultancy, installation, and IT support services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all general office operations, including bookkeeping, finance, administrative, and clerical support. They will also be supporting the Finance & Operations Manager, the company CEO, and the Support Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping in Xero
- Administer and perform all administrative and clerical functions
- Receive and respond to customer calls, ticket logs, and sales enquiries
- Coordinate courier and postal services to clients and suppliers
- Order supplier goods, office equipment, and sundries
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Assist the CEO in sourcing products and preparing quotes for clients
- Create mileage and expense claims for the CEO
- Manage renewals for office insurance, utilities, and other services
- Liaise with supplier/customer accounts department
- Update social media content (Facebook, LinkedIn)
Requirements:
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience with Xero accounts (or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good business acumen
- Competence in Microsoft packages
