About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and confident administrator to join our team as a Respiratory Team Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills, with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders and teams.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of using a variety of software, including Microsoft Office programmes and packages. They will also have the ability to work effectively in a team, manage their own workload, and make decisions with discretion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day work of the People Directorate Business Manager and Director of People
  • Be a central point of contact for the People Directorate business management team and maintain relationships across the directorate
  • Plan and arrange meetings and events, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made
  • Full diary management for the Director of People and booking of meetings and venues for members of the senior leadership team
  • Organise incoming emails for the Director of People, highlighting priority communications and ensuring timely responses
  • Attend designated meetings, taking and transcribing minutes, and distributing information prior to and after meetings
  • Type confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation to a high standard
  • Communicate and model behaviours that promote a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and respect

Requirements

  • NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Basic knowledge of administration and/or office procedures
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties
  • Knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages
