We are currently looking for a Fostering Recruitment Officer to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in the recruitment and assessment of potential foster families, ensuring prompt responses and home assessments for interested households. Reporting to the Fostering Assessment Manager, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external partners to meet specific objectives related to foster parent recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inquiries related to fostering received through various channels.
  • Conduct initial home assessments, including health and safety evaluations.
  • Coordinate with the National Recruitment Manager regarding potential recruitment events, identifying needs and sourcing prospective foster carers.
  • Engage with potential fostering households to address their inquiries.
  • Maintain regular communication and meetings with the Fostering Assessment Manager regarding initial home visits and health and safety matters.
  • Serve as the primary contact for fostering households throughout the assessment process, working closely with the Fostering Recruitment Administrator.
  • Collaborate with the Fostering Assessment Manager, Fostering Recruitment Officer, and Panel Administrator.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient telephone communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage pressure effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Possesses strong administrative skills and the ability to process information efficiently.
  • Competent in using MS Word and Excel.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Flexible in adapting to the needs of the service.
