Fostering Recruitment Specialist

We are currently offering a position as a Fostering Recruitment Officer within our designated region. This role is essential to the recruitment and evaluation process, ensuring prompt responses and home assessments for prospective fostering families. Reporting to the Fostering Assessment Manager, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external partners to fulfill specific duties related to the recruitment of foster parents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all fostering inquiries received through various channels.
- Conduct initial home assessments, including health and safety evaluations.
- Coordinate with the National Recruitment Manager regarding potential recruitment events, identifying needs and sourcing prospective foster carers.
- Engage with potential fostering households to address inquiries.
- Maintain regular communication and meetings with the Fostering Assessment Manager regarding initial home assessments and health and safety matters.
- Serve as the primary contact for fostering households throughout the assessment process, collaborating closely with the Fostering Recruitment Administrator.
- Work in conjunction with the Fostering Assessment Manager, Fostering Recruitment Officer, and Panel Administrator.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient telephone communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
- Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management to ensure task completion.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and high-quality customer service.
- Understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to process information effectively.
- Competent in using MS Word and Excel.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service.

Child Safeguarding:
Child safeguarding is a fundamental aspect of CareTech Group's operations. All staff members are required to adhere to the safeguarding reporting procedures if there are any concerns regarding a child's well-being. The Fostering Recruitment Administrator will be expected to complete mandatory online safeguarding training during their induction.
