Job Summary

The Product Support Manager (PSM) reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is an integral member of the local Factory Steering Committee. As a PSM based at our Kempston factory, you will oversee both technical and sales support functions for our Group Sales and Service Organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide expert technical support to internal sales and service teams.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering Department to enhance product quality and performance.
    • Analyze and address warranty claims and customer complaints effectively.
    • Train Area Sales Managers and Area Service Technicians on product technicalities and competitive advantages.
    • Participate in tender processes, offering technical expertise in collaboration with the Sales & Service Organization.
  • Product Support:
    • Develop and implement effective product support strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Work closely with the Sales and Service teams to identify and address customer needs.
    • Provide product training and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Background: Engineering Degree, preferably in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in heavy equipment maintenance, including hydraulics and electrical systems (experience in sectors like agricultural, mining, or ground support equipment is advantageous).
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English.
