About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Ivy Collection. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the success of our kitchen, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus and dishes.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

  • Lead a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.

  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that we are sourcing the highest quality ingredients at competitive prices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.

  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
