Support Head Chef Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at a prestigious Hotel & Country Inn group in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchens across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef in managing the kitchens, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and kitchen initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality food production and presentation in all kitchens.
  • Manage kitchen budgets and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
