Position Overview

If so, the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Pharmacy Services division.

As a vital part of our expanding team, you will play a key role in assisting senior management in delivering exceptional and professional services.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing high-quality, confidential administrative and operational support to the pharmacy senior management team. This includes:

  • Coordinating operational tasks and resource management.
  • Processing documentation and drafting communication materials.
  • Organizing meetings and events efficiently.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting accurate data validation and reporting in response to routine planning and financial schedules.
  • Addressing information requirements from key stakeholders, including Health Education and Improvement Wales, Health Boards, Trusts, Universities, and the Welsh Government.

You will also manage day-to-day inquiries from Health Boards, Trusts, and other stakeholders regarding ongoing projects, ensuring timely acknowledgment and appropriate escalation of messages.

Proficiency in the Welsh language is preferred for this position; however, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to new software as needed.
  • Familiarity with clerical, administrative, and HR procedures.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience within the NHS.
