We are seeking to recruit a qualified, registered Rehabilitation Engineer to join our Integrated Wheelchair Service clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of patients with a range of permanent wheelchair mobility, postural, and pressure relief needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, service-user-focused assessment and prescription of manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, buggies, and seating.
  • Supervise and allocate work to rehabilitation assistants and rehabilitation engineering technicians.

Requirements:

  • Hold a HNC, HND, or degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Hold registration with either RCT or AHCS.
  • Hold a manual full UK driving license.

This position is working within a regulated environment and will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check. Continuation of the NHS Pension Scheme is only available to the successful candidate who has been a member of this scheme within the last 12 months and subject to NHS Pensions T&Cs.
