About the Role

UCL Eastman Dental Institute is seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer/Associate Professor in Rehabilitation Technology. About the Position

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in rehabilitation technology, who can contribute to our research and teaching activities. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and a proven track record of research excellence, as well as experience in teaching and mentoring students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in rehabilitation technology, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for people with spinal cord injuries.
  • Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including designing and delivering courses in rehabilitation technology.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications, and secure funding to support research activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the institute and beyond to advance knowledge and improve healthcare through interdisciplinary research.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with a PhD in a relevant field and a proven track record of research excellence. They will also have experience in teaching and mentoring students, as well as a strong publication record. In addition, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team.
