Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of handling solutions and equipment at customer premises throughout the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake service calls on a planned preventative and reactive basis at customer premises
  • Perform Preventive Service Maintenance and repair of customer's site equipment and other manufacturer's products and systems
  • Communicate activity and requirements with customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Report via job sheets the activities carried out and faults found during service
  • Provide assistance in the installation and commissioning of machines
  • Train customers and their technicians in the use and service and maintenance of equipment
Requirements:
  • Current experience working in a similar Plant and Equipment arena, preferably in a maintenance environment
  • Multi-skilled experience with Materials Handling Equipment and Automatic process equipment
  • Strong mechanical background and ability to work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work additional hours as required
