Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the Midlands. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostics and performing servicing and repairs on heavy machinery, including plant, construction, agriculture, and off-road specialist vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting of heavy machinery to identify and resolve technical issues.
  2. Performing servicing and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  3. Representing the company on-site, building relationships with customers and providing World Class customer service.
  4. Promoting aftermarket products and services to customers, including IT skills and technical diagnostics.
  5. Compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Good IT skills, including excellent laptop computer technical diagnostics skills.
  2. Deep skills in the service and maintenance of heavy equipment from various manufacturers.
  3. A recognized qualification in mechanical/hydraulics/engines or similar.
  4. A clean driving license and a good driving record.

Benefits:

  1. Core Hours: 40 hours working week, 08:00 - 16:30, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
  2. Attractive rates of pay and overtime rates.
