Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Senior Customer Service Advisor at Brighton and Hove Bus & Coach Company Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service Delivery: Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Team Support: Support the team leader with day-to-day administrative tasks, including cash handling and banking.
  3. Relief Team Leader: Act as relief team leader in the absence of the team leader, ensuring that the shop is well-managed and customers receive excellent service.
  4. Coach and Develop: Coach and develop Customer Experience Advisors to enhance their customer service skills and knowledge.
  5. Rostering and Scheduling: Maintain a good level of rostering, ensuring that the shop has sufficient cover while remaining fair and flexible for colleagues and the business.
  6. Escalated Complaints: Support the team and customers by dealing with escalated complaints and providing a satisfactory outcome.
  7. Banking and Reporting: Provide daily banking reports, ensuring that all sales are accounted for.
Requirements
  1. Confidence and Multitasking: Confidence using a PC and the ability to multitask.
  2. Positive and Flexible Approach: Positive and flexible approach to work.
  3. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  5. Passion for Customer Service: Passion, enthusiasm, and engagement in all aspects of providing excellent customer service.
  6. Customer Complaint-Handling Skills: Excellent customer complaint-handling skills.
  7. Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a retail environment.
  8. Team Leader Experience: Previous team leader experience.
