Claims Team Leader

Charles Taylor UK Claims Management is seeking a highly skilled Team Leader/Claims Handler with expertise in EL/PL to lead a team handling claims from initial notification to final settlement.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and adhere to efficient claims handling policies, procedures, and controls to ensure seamless claim processing.
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality claims handling and develop their skills in EL/PL.
- Produce monthly financial and KPI reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Attend client service meetings to report on performance and provide trend analysis to inform business decisions.
- Appoint experts to progress claims within delegated authority, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Collect and review all relevant documents related to claims, considering policy wording and liability to ensure accurate claims handling.
- Manage litigation and ensure claims management systems are up-to-date to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
- 5 years of claims experience in either a TPA or Underwriter in EL/PL.
- 2 years of supervisory/team leader experience of a claims team.
