Job Summary

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a range of projects, including construction, refurbishments, and installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage a range of works, including construction, refurbishments, and installations, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Deliver projects within a live environment, minimizing disruption to day-to-day services and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Complete pre-inspections to specify works to issue to contractors, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor contractors completing works, ensuring they are working to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including clinical staff, to ensure constant communication throughout project stages.
  • Attend and chair briefing meetings with architects, engineers, and M&E design engineers to progress design and ensure project alignment.
  • Project manage the tender process and works on site, from initiation to completion and handover.
  • Provide technical advice and ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and statutory legislations.
  • Collaborate with estates departments to improve procurement methods, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Manage the design process of all projects, from strategic development to early planning stages, through to handover.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, tender documents, and evaluation reports for projects.
  • Liaise with on-site estates departments to ensure smooth transition of new facilities.
  • Create, review, and uphold method statements and risk assessments.
