Job Summary

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a range of projects, including construction, refurbishments, and installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage a range of works, including construction, refurbishments, and installations, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including risk assessments and method statements, to ensure compliance with statutory legislations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including clinical staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the tender process, including the evaluation of bids and the negotiation of contracts, to ensure the best value for money.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with compliance and statutory legislations.
  • Work with estates departments to improve the method of procuring capital projects, ensuring cost effectiveness and value for money.
  • Manage the design process of all projects, from strategic development to handover, to ensure projects are delivered to the required standard.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and tender documents, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with on-site estates departments to ensure a smooth transition of new facilities and minimize disruption to day-to-day services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction, refurbishments, and installations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
