Capital Projects Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Commercial Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering high-value commercial projects and developing strong client relationships in the sustainable energy market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective commercial strategies to enhance the company's market position and financial growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of service-based commercial activities, optimising profitability and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Negotiate commercial aspects of major plant procurement and construction contracts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with projects, trading, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for commercial initiatives.
  • Work closely with the CEO to support key project off-taker and financing relationships within a corporate environment.
  • Deliver complex financial models for projects, working with other teams.
  • Support forward tenders for project services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Commercial Manager or similar role, preferably within the energy sector or other engineering sector.
  • Track record of successful commercial strategic development and implementation.
  • Experience in the corporate environment in a commercial position.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • In-depth understanding of market research, business development, and financial principles.
