Project Manager - Commercial MEP

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our commercial MEP projects from set-up to handover and evaluation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects in the commercial sector, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects from set-up to handover and evaluation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Develop and manage project estimates and valuations, ensuring that all costs are accurately accounted for and that projects are delivered within budget.
  3. Manage and ensure that the project team is complying with project specifications, including health and safety requirements.
  4. Track and report project progress at weekly client update meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  5. Plan and manage resources, including materials, labour, and sub-contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. Liaise with the Site Safety Officer to ensure that all health and safety standards are maintained.
  7. Liaise with clients to develop and implement KPIs, ensuring that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  8. Manage and maintain all health and safety requirements, ensuring that all projects are delivered in a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

  1. Proven project management experience in the commercial MEP sector, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Willingness to travel to sites, as required.
  3. Exceptional written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Self-motivated personality, with a strong focus on delivering projects to the required quality standards.
  5. Attention to detail, with a right-first-time attitude.
  6. Organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. SMSTS and CSCS qualifications, or equivalent.
