Job Description

Job Title: Capital Projects Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Manager to join our team at Venn Group. As a Capital Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of capital projects, including construction, refurbishments, and installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clinical staff, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Coordinate and chair briefing meetings with stakeholders to progress project design and delivery.
  • Manage the tender process, including the preparation of tender documents and evaluation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Work with estates departments to improve the method of procuring capital projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Manage the design process of all projects, from strategic development to handover.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and tender documents for projects.
  • Liaise with on-site estates departments to ensure a smooth transition of new facilities.
  • Create, review, and uphold method statements and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in capital projects management, preferably in a healthcare or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
