Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Controller to join our team at SUEZ UK. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Energy Recovery Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee our stores inventory, ensuring spares and consumables are available when needed.
  • Control, order, and issue stock to support the continuous operation of our equipment, ensuring spares are promptly booked-in and correctly requisitioned out of our CMMS system.
  • Maintain accurate records using our inventory monitoring systems.
  • Take responsibility for the financial management of inventory, ensuring cost-effective stock levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to support maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Experience in an engineering environment, particularly within heavy industry.
  • Knowledge, experience, and understanding of supply chain processes within inventory control operations.
  • IT literacy, with experience in CMMS and raising orders being highly desirable.
  • Methodical and process-oriented, with the initiative to refine and improve inventory processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work, striving for continuous improvement.
  • A confident communicator, who will take ownership of the development and compliance of all our inventory processes.
