Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Health and Safety to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all Grainger employees and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory regimes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a health and safety management system and supporting policies.
  • Ensure appropriate training and support is provided to all employees.
  • Monitor health and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date risk register and provide regular reports to the Risk and Fire Safety team.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence with The Building Safety and H&SAW Acts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, including auditing and risk assessment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel UK-wide regularly.
  • Clear report writing skills.
