The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing C-suite stakeholders and driving engagement across the broader business. You will be a strong leader with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders both within the organisation and externally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a dynamic, fit-for-purpose health and safety strategy that enhances the safety and wellbeing of our customers, employees, and third-party partners.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to business leaders on health and safety compliance, emerging best practices, and the necessity for change.
- Embed best-in-class health and safety standards across the business, ensuring alignment with both culture and operations.
- Oversee robust health and safety governance, reporting structures, and an assurance framework across First Bus.
- Lead strategic investigations into health and safety challenges, coaching teams to implement corrective actions that drive performance improvements.
- Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH)
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to shape health and safety strategy, drive business planning, and effectively implement change across all levels.
- Strong leader with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with senior leaders both within the organisation and externally.
