Health and Safety Leadership Position

Irwin and Colton - HSE Recruitment is pleased to partner with a FTSE-250 property organisation in their search for a Director of Health and Safety. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead health and safety in a professional and dynamic working environment.
The successful candidate will have proven senior experience in a similar role within the world of real estate, with a strong track record of influencing, engaging, and coaching across all levels of the organisation. They will also possess a NEBOSH Diploma and excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities will include ensuring a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and diverse portfolio, providing expert guidance and leadership to the Board of Directors, and developing and strategically leading the health and safety management system.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and diverse portfolio
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to the Board of Directors and engage with all staff across the organisation on health and safety issues
• Develop and strategically lead the health and safety management system, seek opportunities to improve and enhance the overall Health and safety strategy and performance
Requirements:
• Proven senior experience in a similar role within the world of real estate
• Experience in influencing, engaging, and coaching across all levels of the organisation from site to the boardroom and building relationships straight away
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
