About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Writer/Director to join our team at Electrify Video Partners. As a key member of our digital video team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our YouTube channel, which focuses on Physics and science education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Research and develop video ideas related to Physics, Maths, and Engineering, and write high-quality scripts that meet the channel's standards.
  • Production Management: Oversee the production process, including planning, directing, and producing content that meets the channel's goals and standards.
  • Project Management: Develop and execute a production schedule to ensure timely delivery of projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure that all content is optimized for YouTube and other social media platforms.
Requirements
  • Education: A strong bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Maths, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in long-form or feature science communication, ideally with knowledge of science YouTube content.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing writing ability, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging way.
