Science Content Creator

Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic digital media company dedicated to building successful YouTube channels within the science and education space. We invest in and scale established channels, transforming them into global media businesses through strategic team development, content production optimization, and innovative revenue diversification.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Content Creator - Physics & STEM to join our remote team. This role will be instrumental in crafting engaging and informative video content for our rapidly growing science-focused YouTube channel.
As a Science Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in researching, writing, and directing compelling videos that explore the fascinating world of physics, mathematics, engineering, and related scientific disciplines. Your deep understanding of these subjects, coupled with your creative storytelling abilities, will ensure that our content captivates a wide audience of curious learners.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on various topics within physics, mathematics, and engineering to generate innovative video ideas.
- Develop captivating scripts that accurately convey complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible manner. Your writing will be meticulously researched, drawing upon primary sources and scientific literature.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that your scripts align seamlessly with the visual direction of the videos, creating a cohesive and visually appealing viewing experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific discoveries and advancements in the field, incorporating them into your video content to keep our audience informed and inspired.
- Manage the production process from concept to completion, including storyboarding, shot listing, and post-production editing.
Qualifications:
- A strong academic background in physics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree or higher).
- Proven experience in science communication, particularly within the realm of long-form video content.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing your writing abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to communicate complex scientific ideas effectively.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for science education and a desire to inspire others through engaging content.
