About the Role:
  • Develop and produce high-quality creative video content for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Edit footage into short-form and long-form content for various platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more.
  • Implement creative editing techniques, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics, to enhance the final product.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral content, and successful brand strategies to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
  • Develop and pitch content ideas that align with our brand's goals and audience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Filming & Production:
    • Spend an average of one day per week capturing video content, including key features of our products, lifestyle shots, and behind-the-scenes footage.
    • Operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure the best possible quality.
    • Ensure all footage is shot with the final edit in mind, capturing a variety of angles and b-roll for social media or longer video clips for YouTube.
  • Content Creation:
    • Develop and produce high-quality creative video content for various social media platforms.
    • Write scripts to ensure all content is purposeful and aligned with our brand messaging.
  • Content Strategy & Development:
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, viral content, and successful brand strategies.
    • Develop and pitch content ideas that align with our brand's goals and audience.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with our COO to align social media content with overall marketing strategies and goals.
  • Research & Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze the performance of content across different platforms and refine the approach based on data and insights.
    • Continuously research successful personal brands to understand what type of content works best and suggest new strategies and ideas.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience in making and creating video content creation.
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
