About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Persons Worker to join our team at With You. As a Young Persons Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse. Your primary responsibility will be to work with these individuals to access their needs, develop care plans, deliver a variety of treatments, and refer them to other specialist support when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions to support young people in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
  • Provide education and guidance to young people to help them understand the implications of their situations and make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team, sharing skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Good organizational skills to manage time effectively, prioritize work, and cope with competing demands.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including engaging delivery of presentations.
  • Ability to record and maintain accurate case details in a timely manner.
  • Effective IT skills, able to use different packages and digital media.
