Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality informal education opportunities to promote personal and social development among young people.
  • Support young people who are challenged in education, their communities, or home life to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.
  • Work collaboratively with the Targeted Youth Support team to deliver core youth work, including detached/outreach working, special educational needs & disability support, and safe spaces.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of youth programs, including LGBTQ+ groups and mental health initiatives.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm, organization, and passion for making a difference in young people's lives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality youth work services.
  • Willingness to undertake a Level 2 youth work qualification, if not already held.
