About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View Childcare. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans that promote the well-being and success of each young person.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships and encourages personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
  • Engage in activities and outings that promote social, emotional, and educational development, while also providing opportunities for relaxation and leisure.
  • Communicate effectively with families, friends, and other external agencies to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for all involved.
Requirements
  • Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
