Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young adults with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young adults, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Contribute to a safe, secure, and homely environment, promoting a sense of belonging and community among our residents.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, friends, and external agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in regular supervisions, training, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Working with Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
