About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our CRM Change Programme team at WWF-UK. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data governance at our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Establish a robust data governance framework from scratch, ensuring compliance with WWF policies and legislation.
  • Advocate for better use and management of data, driving business value and supporting our mission.
  • Translate UK Data Protection legislation into actionable policy and data quality rules.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and influencing skills.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of establishing data governance frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Data Protection legislation and its application in a business context.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data governance tools such as Azure Purview, Informatica, Talend, etc. (an advantage).
  • Experience working with CRM systems and databases in a charity or marketing context (an advantage).
