About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Data Governance Analyst to join our newly formed team at Nomad Foods. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and implementing robust data governance frameworks across our organization.
As a key member of the Data Governance team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of our data assets. You will contribute to defining data policies, standards, and procedures, while also empowering data owners and stewards to effectively manage their data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, encompassing data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.
- Monitor and analyze data quality metrics using our new Data Quality tool, taking proactive steps to address any identified issues.
- Collaborate with data owners and stewards across business functions, providing guidance and support in their data management responsibilities.
- Play a central role in the centralization and management of data definitions, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data policies and standards, including data storage, retention, and unstructured data management.
- Support the development and rollout of a data literacy program to enhance data awareness and understanding within Nomad Foods.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong passion for data governance and a proven track record in working with data quality tools. Experience within an SAP environment, particularly Master Data Management, Information Steward, and Life Cycle Management, is highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills are essential for success in this role.
