Job Title: Graduate Data Analyst

Job Type: PAYE Contract (On-going)

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst or an Automotive / Motorsport Engineering Graduate to join our team in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our Prototype and Development Department, collaborating closely with test technicians and engineers to provide critical data insights that drive our projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with test technicians and engineers to gather, analyse, and interpret data.
  2. Generate detailed reports using Excel, Power BI, and SAP to support project development and testing.
  3. Utilize PowerQuery to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  4. Manage and manipulate Bills of Materials (BOM) data to support project planning and execution.
  5. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and analyses.
  6. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to provide insights to stakeholders.
  7. Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Support the team with ad-hoc data requests and analysis needs.

Requirements:

  1. An Engineering degree in a relevant field or previous experience within a similar in an engineering capacity.
  2. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
  3. Strong knowledge of Power BI and PowerQuery for data analysis and reporting.
  4. Experience with SAP and BOM management.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
