We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist Specialist to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of anaesthetists in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures
- Lead and manage a team of anaesthetists to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services and programs
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full GMC Registration and a license to practice
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
- Higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry
- Experience in anaesthesia and leadership roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
