Position Overview

Role Context: As the initial point of contact for our guests, your presence sets the tone for their experience at our establishment. It is essential to maintain a polished appearance and engage with guests in a warm and professional manner, taking personal accountability for addressing any inquiries or requests they may have.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all hotel amenities and services to ensure optimal guest satisfaction, promptly reporting any concerns to management.
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects of nighttime operations, ensuring a consistently high level of service.
  • Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, fire, and security protocols established by the hotel.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel at all times.
  • Assist in the clearing and resetting of rooms following events.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks as directed by the Night Manager.
  • Manage room service requests for food and beverages, including preparation of drinks and meals.
  • Ensure hallways on guest floors are kept clear and tidy.
  • Handle housekeeping requests for linens, toiletries, and bed management.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Collaborate with the night team to uphold hotel safety and security, reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches to management.
  • Prepare for upcoming functions and breakfast service for the next day.
  • Complete any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
  • Arrive for shifts punctually and notify the Duty Manager of any emergencies requiring absence at least four hours before your scheduled start time.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Participate in training sessions as required.
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned by management.
