We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at NEAS. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study, with the aim of helping them to achieve their individual aspirations.
You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centred with good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with both staff and pupils.
Whilst we value relevant experience, it is not essential for candidates to have previously worked with autistic individuals - all we ask is that you are hard-working, willing to learn and committed to promoting the positive development of children and young people.
What We OfferAs a Disability Confident Employer, we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for this job vacancy.

We not only celebrate diversity but recognise the value and opportunity it brings. We are committed to creating a workplace where all differences are valued, and we make sure that all colleagues are given the same opportunities.
It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children and/or vulnerable adults.
