About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at the North East Autism Society. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study, with the aim of helping them to achieve their individual aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve individual aspirations
  • Build positive relationships with staff and pupils

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm and a drive for what can be a demanding role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently
